I generally don't eat anything solid until late lunchtime. Super fruit drinks that I make give my body system a lot of nutrients to use on, I'm not really hungry. It's quite a fantastic experience. Don't get me wrong, I'm getting enough calories, but they're in the type of nutrient dense super fruit shakes, smoothies and juices.
My body system has everything it wants and requires. Consequently, I don't experience hunger. This really is from the guy having a RMR of 3000+ calories daily based on "modern medicine." Once again our body is much more worried about nutrients over calories. Concentrate on obtaining the most nutrients and you'll be fine using the calories.
Spinach: This green leafy plant is really a true wonder. Low in calories but full of just about all the vitamins present, a great number of minerals, plant sterols as well as proteins. It's simple to make salads with, increase smoothies as well as saute in vast amounts since it will reduce in size when cooked. (I only advise cooking spinach if you are becoming lots of raw foods otherwise.)
Kale: Another green leafy miracle, Kale actually doesn't shrink when it's cooked but turns into a bit softer. It has great Vitamins A,C and K.
Cruciferous vegetables are specifically high in anti-cancer compounds. Although low in calories, they're high in nutrients and fiber that will help satiate without weighing you down. They include kale, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, bok choy, watercress, radishes and wasabi. I ought to mention brussels sprouts too, while not my personal favorite many people love them.
Sweet potatoes: An excellent spot to get top quality carbohydrates, there is a wide spectrum of proteins, are high in Vit a and minerals. They are one of the best foods around.
Onions: Pretty much any onion will probably be a powerful anti-inflammatory agent. They help to wash your blood, are low in calories and still provide a pleasant spectrum of minerals and vitamins. Members of the onion family include scallions and garlic! They're an absolute must have addition to any soups and salads.
